The Town Tricksters

The Town Tricksters is the story of a hard-headed boy who is expelled from school for indiscipline and ostracized by the elders of the village. He takes off to the city where he undergoes several experiences that with compelling inevitability lead to his death.

Beneath this simple story are the tensions of modern Africa – her fragmentation into the rural and the urban, the tradition and the modern segments.
