Sam Jim Mwanyasi was born and raised in Taita Taveta county on the picturesque Taita hills overlooking the expansive Tsavo national park. He studied Maths and Chemistry at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology. A brisk and aggressive entrepreneur with a penchant for risk management, business intelligence and finance, Sam Jim is currently the chairman of Spectrum Network group of companies. He is married with three daughters and resides in Nairobi.
