Conflict In The Garden

The first couple Adam and Eve, walked side by side and worked together in perfect harmony in the Garden od Eden. They shared a sense of mutual interrelationship and enjoyed a freedom of togetherness, intimacy and communication. They possessed a deep-flowing affection that bound them to each other. That is how God had designed their union until sin slipped in. As a result, conflict, struggle and pain came into their marriage.

Conflict, struggle and pain are inevitable and common to all marriages. Every couple has its share of them but many couples in marriage do not want to admit fearing that their marriages will be taken as ungodly.

When conflict arises, spouses are poised to fall directly into a blame game. They blame and out rightly accuse each other. Although the blame game never works, it is still the first course of action that most marriages take.

“Conflict In The Garden” is about marital relationships and displays God’s design for marriage, why conflict is inevitable in the union and aims at assisting spouses to understand the root of marital conflict. It also advises spouses on how to positively resolve and manage conflict in a biblical manner.

The book is good for both pre-marital and married couples. It is not meant to be an exhaustive piece on the subject, rather it is a general description showing the essential features of marriage. Each chapter could itself be a book on its own.
