Enkazuri

Set in a rural African village with beautiful scenery and a thriving village life, Enkazuri is the story of ten-year-olds, Pendo and Jasiri. The book seeks to bring out positive family and Bible values, as well as life skills learnt from the every-day lives of Pendo and Jasiri, their families, their village friends, and their new friends in the city and at the Kwetu children’s centre.

About The Author

Linda K. Ndethiu

Linda K. Ndethiu was born and raised in a small village in Kenya. When she later went to the capital city of Nairobi for University and interacted with life in the city, she grew to love the two worlds. In her book Enkazuri, Ms. Ndethiu gives children a glimpse into both worlds and shows them the beauty in the village and in the city.

Ms. Ndethiu is a mother of three. Teaching Sunday School, as well as her work with child-focused community development organizations grew her passion for working with children and young people. She is keen to see children begin to read, or be read to, from a young age in an era where less and less adults and children are reading books. She’s also enthusiastic about joining other African Authors in telling African stories to the children of the world.

Besides writing, Ms. Ndethiu enjoys hiking, traveling, photography and mentorship. You can reach the Enkazuri Author on: Linda.ndethiu@gmail.com.
