As long as Rev. Dr. Timothy M. Njoya can remember, he has always believed in the equality of men and women and the validity of women rights. he does not know the exact time when the idea of starting a movement fro equality between men and women came to his mind. As a parish minister for almost four decades, working in various ethnic communities, he witnessed almost daily women assaulted by their communities, he witnessed almost daily women assaulted by their husbands, girls violated by their fathers, brothers or boyfriends and school girls forced to drop out of school due to untimely pregnancies. Several decades of counselling such women and girls compelled him to think of mobilizing men to change our culture by re socializing men and socializing boys with the values of human rights masculinity particularly the peaceful coexistence of men and women.
