The Cages we Built is a book that openly talks about one’s emotional vulnerability and the freedom and right we all have to give and receive love, and to be loved. But, since this is written from my personal experiences, it also talks abut the things that get us to he point of love. Those ugly scars that make us and the journey of a depressed mind that still leads one to the light.
Kendi Karimi is a journalist with rich experience in writing. She has worked in and written for media houses, newspapers, blogs, magazines and creative institutions and companies like Homeboyz Radio, The Saturday Nation and Vivo Woman. Kendi hopes to find a permanent solution to single-use plastic waste and life of open expression through her writing.
