Kadogo is a healthy, intelligent ten-year old girl who lives near Mt. Elgon. Her people live in fear of a fierce, ugly monster. The best hunters are unable to get rid of it but Kadogo uses a clever tricks to kill it. The people are so happy that they make her the chief.
